I have tried the 12 year Vintage and thought it was good. I would like to try it again, but I would also like to try some of his new stuff. I can't make up my mind. Tell me what I should get. I like medium to full cigars with not to much spice, like the Hemingway SS, Padron 3KM and CAO Brazillia. I prefer Robusto or Toro size.
Both the Vintage '90 and Vintage '92 cigars are excellent, the only difference being the wrapper, which gives each cigar a little different flavor. The Rocky Patel SunGrowns are very flavorful and consistent all the way through the cigar and I find them very enjoyable. As we have mentioned in other posts, the RP Edge is made to be more like the JDN Antano with its in your face taste and tobacco strength. They are all good smokes and deserve a try if you want to do some singles or five packs. If I had to live with one or two, it would the the '92 Vintage and the RP SunGrown torpedos, but being the cigar lover I am, I have a generous supply of all on hand.

yea i'm gonna say that the vintage 92 is still my favorite eventhough the sungrown is pretty good. i've got part of a box of 92 toros that are somewhere around a year old, and i smoke the first one (of this box) the other day and it was absolutely perfect...mmm

I've only had the Edge, I liked it enough to buy a few box's. I have a 5 pack of 90's waiting for some time to try as well.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries. -David Savona

02_silver_wagon; Since you like the CAO Brazilias, Try one of Rocky's Indian Tabac Cameroon Legend Maduros.
It may sound strange, but the Cameroon Legend Maddie uses a Brazilian Maduro wrapper like the Brasilia (only the Natural uses a true Cameroon wrapper). The Brazilia & IT Maddie have very similar flavor profiles, and the Indian Tabacs's are significantly less expensive.
Very flavorful medium bodied smokes....though my favorite RP is still the Edge.

Vintage 92 followed by the edge in a distant second. The sungrown isn't a favorite. Don't get me wrong, it is a well made cigar but just has a little too much cedar and bite for me.

I am a big fan of the '90 with '92 not too far behind. The Edge Maduro was a "one'n'done" cigar (don't think I'd buy again) -- the wrapper is gorgeous but very strong. I found the corojo wrapped Edge to be a bit more balanced. Perhaps a few years of aging and they'd be awesome, but there are so many good cigars out there these days and I'm short on storage space.

I thought I sent you a RP Edge COrojo Torp?
I like the $h!t out of the Edge Corojo torps, I had a SG torp and was not impressed at all. I have a review on it but just havnt had enough time in one sitting to post it.

The Cameroon Legend Maduro is still one of my favorite under the radar smokes. this benefits from aging, and will really suprise you if you give it a chance IMHO.
It's tie between The Edge Maduro, Vintage 1992 Toro and the Sun Grown Toro. All three are cigars I love at different times based on what I'm in the mood for.(I think The Edge Maduro is pulling into the lead.)

I've tried all but The Edge series, and while the construction and draw are 1st rate, none of his cigars seem to fit my tastes. The one I enjoyed most though was the Vintage 92
