Does anyone know of a cigar that is the same blend as the Tinderbox Punch Prensada N0. 3 Maduro? It's about the same size as a Punch Rothschild Double Maduro, but darker(oilier) and box pressed.

The description says "Honduran and Dominican filler tobaccos and are wrapped with Cuban-seed Ecuadorian wrappers."

It's a great everyday cigar for me, unfortunately I've heard that it's discontinued. I've been trying to find something with the same taste to cost ratio so I can pick up a box.

These Punch cigars are made exclusively for Tinderbox. No one else carries them but Tinderbox. The closest you would find to these cigars are the Punch or HdM Rothchilds in Double maduro wrappers.

Thanks Zman. I'll have to check out the HdM Rothchilds (I didn't see a Double Maduro, but I did see an Oscuro). I've tried the Punch DM's, but even though they were good, they didn't impress me more than any other good cigar.

I guess I was really hoping that someone would say, "no, the Prensada's haven't been discontinued, they'll have some in January". Or "Since TB discontinued them, Punch now sells them under the name Dictada's".

Chevron, Actually the DM and Oscuro are the same wrappers. General Cigars calls their wrappers either DM or Oscuro. If you want to try a true Double Maduro Wrapper and Binder give the Sancho Panza Double Maduro's a try.
