mmmm. Excellent cigar. Just finished smoking half of one and it is definitely worthy of the rating. It is so smooth and what is rare is even if you smoke it fast it still maintains it's integrity and flavor without even a trace of harshness.

Im confused. Are we talking about Don Pepin with the black band (Havana Classic) or the Black Pearl? Different cigars, different manufacturers.

I've had the toro multiple times, and would give it a 91.

Oh OK, the La Perla Habana Black Pearl Morado line, yes they are nice. The DPG cuban classic line is nice as well.

I've had a few Black Pearl Toro's and I liked them.

No matter where you go or what you want to do....there will always be something or someone in the way.

I had the toro size the other day and it was fantastic. I was extremely surprised by the new blend.

Littones did they change this blend recently? I had one of these gifted to me one time and really liked it. I in turn bought a box and never got the same positive experience again.

I could be wrong. When I walked into my local the other day he told me they have the "new" Black Pearl in. He could have meant new to his shop.
I just don't remember liking this cigar like I did. It was the Morado.
I'll check their website.
