I have always liked Jamaican Cigars (Royal Jamaican). I was checking the reviews section here and was surprised to find a poor review. I wonder if there is a Jamaican brand that is well-received?

The only good Jamaican Cigar i ever smoked was a Macanudo.Alas they stopped making them in Jamaica many years ago.Have not seen another Jamaican cigar since.Must be politics or something.

The Royal Jamaican does not have any Jamaican tabacco in it. Just the name implies it has Jamaican tabacco. I think in the past they were made in Jamaica but not anymore.

Sheepshead I think we have talked about it before. The Jamaican Macanudo was a great cigar. Its a shame they do not produce it anymore.

I wish I would have known earlier that buying her diamonds would let me be allowed to smoke cigars in the house.

Yes we have my friend. It is indeed a shame.I do not think that any cigars are mass produced in Jamaica.I have heard of a small company that is making cigars in Jamaica limited supply. For the life of me i can not remember the name.

If you want a cigar made in Jamaica, look for ones made by Barrington House. Very small producer, so they're hard to find.

A guy named Joe Adducci makes Adduci Jamaican Cigars, but they won't be on the US market till about January.

Its the thread we were talking on the last time.
I guess it must be it but they won't be in the states till after the new year.I am gonna try some. You?

Yep, the macanudo you speak of must be discontinued because I have searched high and low now and Royal Jamaica is all I've found. BTW the filler is for RJ is grown in jamaica, but I think the rest is done in Nicaragua. Thanks for your help!
