sheri, you were so kind with the gift you sent me when my dad died, I feel guilty receiving 2 more sticks that are on my wishlist. I do have 2 sticks that are on your wishlist, but does not even compare. more in email.

Please don't feel bad. If I didn't want to send them to you, I wouldn't have said anything. I'm going to check my e-mail now.

Wow, what a fantastic idea. How did I not see this until now?

I'm sure this has been brought up, but are there any shipping standards to follow in terms of protecting the cigars?

Typically everyone uses USPS because they offer free packaging boxes and labels (You can even get them shipped to your house for free - see the link here).

Since you asked, I normally do the following:

1.) Add sticks and humidi-pack to said designated bag.
2.) Tape bag so the sticks do not move around.
3.) Wrap in bubble wrap and tape off.
4.) Add non-static packing peanuts to box so cigars are secure and do not move during shipping.

After you pack however you seem fit, take to post office... pay for postage and delivery confirmation.Save confirmation so you can e-mail the recipient and you're finished.

Hope that helps.

durtesanch,

I was really looking for the natural model of the RP Fusion. My local B&M has the maduro but not the natural and I'm not real big on maduro at this point. But I do appreciate the consideration.
Do you not like the double maduro?
