I was wondering if any of you have tried this before. I haven't seen any reviews and I read that its the same blend as the 03 but with a different wrapper. My local cigar shop has a few boxes, but I'm not sure I want to plop down $14 for one.

I thought it was OK. For some reason the first inch was like smoking incense or something.

Mike

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
John Stuart Mill

I agree. An ok smoke, and it had one flavor that I just can't describe. I guess incense is close, I just can't put my finger on it. Overall it's a good smoke but no, I don't think I'd spend $14 for one.

I also tasted the "incense" and was about to put it out, but I decided to stick it out and it turned out good. Construction was well done (as always with almost all Toranos) and burn was even all the way down. Good stick, but personally I wouldn't buy it again.

The two that I smoked were spectacular. Excellent maduro flavor, even burn, good strength. They came out of the same box. Definitely a treat!

I was given a couple of the Tributes to smoke by a friend at a cigar club. After trying them I much prefer the Signature line or the rock solid Exodus to them. Its not a bad smoke, just doesn't have the flavor that I like in the other Toranos.
