The 3 Cigar Sampler just arrived. I figured 7.95 for 3 cigars can't be too bad of a gamble. I haven't touched a Macanudo in 15 years, If these are just okay then I'm not really out of any money. Think I will let them sit for a couple of weeks.
Just curious, where did you pick these up at? Also, are this the ones that we're debuted at the tobacco event in Vegas, that said they were not going to be available on-line?
I've been looking at my local B&M for this sticks to no avail yet. How do do you like them?

At some point since the end of the show, someone posted a link to a Mac site that was offering a variety 3-pack for $9.95. Follow the links and you'll have them in about a week. At least that's how long I waited on mine.
I've yet to try one, maybe next week sometime.

Yes this is the one that they just released to the public in Vegas. It is suppoesed to be a much stronger and more bodied smoke than all of their other line. I belive ExtensionCord might have done a thread on this in the review section if you would like to go and try and find it there. It will give you a better description of the cigar and its flavors.

Got mine maybe ten days ago- Had the Robusto a day or two ago. Nothing special. Definately full bodied though and maybe in a year the other two will be stand outs. Who knows... I need to win the lottery so I can smoke well aged cigars!

I ordered mine last week and got them yesterday. I think they look very nice. THe Aroma is sweet, so far I am impressed. I am going to let them sit awhile. I think they are will be well worth the 10 bucks I paid for 3 sticks.
I posted this in the cigar review section, but the 1968 robusto I had a few nights ago was terrible, there were some good flavors but the taste was quite bland, harsh, and had a weird after taste

I got mine yesterday...like everyone else said, $10 for 3 cigars is worth a shot. The owner of my favorite B&M said he had one at some retailers show and they went over pretty well.

Just smoked the toro. At first I was disappointed. The draw was hard and the flavor was bland. However it got much better about an inch into the cigar. It tasted a lot like my first bottle of scotch: Johnnie Walker Black Label. I loved that bottle so it brought back some fond memories. Then it turned creamy with a hint of spice. I would give the cigar about a B to B+

I am going to a cigar tasting for this cigar oct. 4th. thanks for all the info. They are going to have them on sale buy two get one free and they are giveing one free at to taste. I will be takeing a nice bottle of bouben if the cigar is too rough.
Gotta agree with the tight draw. I've only tried the Robusto so far. It was decent. Considering my B&M is selling them for $10+ apiece, I figured I'd give the sampler a try.

I had the churchill two nights ago, definitely the best one, good draw with good coffee, creamy flavors, really enjoyed it but nowhere near the level of other better cigars for the same price.
