I found one in my humidor that is about a year old. It was about 6 inches by 44 I would guess.
Dull look, no sheen to it. I found that it was peppery and made the inside of my mouth tingle in an unpleasant pipe tobacco way.
Burned nicely with a white ash. Easy draw.
Pleasant but nothing I would buy more of, there are so many better cigars out there to be had.
If I was rating it by my,I don't know what I'm doing scale, it would be in the mid 80's. I could see others liking it but not my cup of tea.

I have one DC in the humidor. Never had one, but I'm gonna "kill" this one soon!

Have a Churchill and a Robusto in my humidor. Each about a year old. Going to let them sit for the right occassion. Have been looking forward to them.

These cigars get a bad rap from most people. Probably because of the price/availability issue. Oh well, they are probably my favorite smoke along with the Opus X. Those are about all I have in my humi. The longer they sit the better they are. I have some that are approaching 3 years of age. Leaving for a cruise this weekend so I will be lighting them up for sure.

Thanks to BlueORb I got to smoke a DC Max Robusto the other night. MMM MMM GOOD!! Feel free to send any other "spares" my way. Gorgeous stick with nice full body. Smaller ring gauge then a lot of robustos (was almost like a big PC) but it still produced mountains of white smoke. Delectable.

I had a No.2 Robusto about two years ago. Nothing to brag about. I haven't replaced it and I would spend like money for an Ashton VSG or Padron '64 in the NC's.

I've had only one of these. Over priced, drawed poorly, burned uneven and had a flakey ash. However, the flavors were very nice. I could see how some humi time could help calm down the spice on these and let more flavors in. If priced right, I would probably buy it again. Too bad I never see them priced right.

I've smoked a bunch of the DC maximus robustos. They just aren't that special to me, escpecially for the price. The bands are friggin awesome though.

Wow, I have never had a DC Max that drew poorly. Sometimes the burn is off but I guess that could be said about all cigars if you smoke enough of one marka. I also like them because of all the white smoke they produce. Something about smiking a cigar and having a bunch of smoke with each draw.

I smoke the natural wrapped Diamond Crowns on a regular basis. The Maximus are ok once in a while for a change of pace, but I much prefer the naturals. Of all the Maximus I have smoked, every one has burned to perfection.
