Guys,

I just love these. I know some people think that its all hype, but this happens to be one of my favs.

The only problem is my local shop only gets them once every six months or so. Which means I end up with about 4 sticks a year.

Obviously, this is not enough. Does anybody know where I can get more?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.: I keep my eyes open on the internet cigar sites to see when they get them in, but everytime I see them they are gone before I can order any. BTW, I am not willing to pay $22 dollars a cigar or whatever ridiculous price some companies want to charge. $15 a piece is still high, bur its what I usually pay.

It's a funny thing, but the Fuente family does not distribute their product to cigar shops equally. I have had the chance to speak to the owners of a couple of shops, and they all have had very different experiences. Some have all of the Fuente lines, even the Anejo "sharks", as well as OpusX on a somewhat regular basis. Some get a couple of boxes around Father's Day and December, but no more. Goes without saying that the shops that get a very limited amount sell out VERY quickly, like the shop in your case. Best I can offer is to find the largest shop in your area (highest gross sales) and you'll probably have a better chance of having OpusX available. There might be places to go online, but others have told me that online places are often out of stock even when they show the sticks as being available.
Good Luck!

Sounds exactly like my experiences. My local shop (30-45 min away) is fairly high volume and they only get two boxes every six months or so. I buy all I can (4 sticks) at that time and I save all of the cigars for special occasions, but its not enough.

I have noticed a lot of online places that list them as being for sale, by the box even.

However, when you call they say they only sell them 2 or 3 at a time and then only in their brick and mortar shop.

The other option is to pay $23 plus a cigar and I'm just not willing to do that. I have a feeling that I'm SOL but you never know.
