I had the Cubao and thought that it was excellent. My Father by Don Pepin is the one that I cannot wait to try. THe first Pepin cigar to be rolled with his own tobacco.

The My Father by Pepin and the new La Aroma de Cuba blended by Pepin are high on my priority list.

"Is that a Churchill cigar in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

I forgot about the La Aroma. Also, La Aurora has a new Preferido lancero.

Thaterp, which Cubao did you have? I had the lancero while another customer was smoking a larger one. Both had big, easy draws and burned very slow.

i had the No. 1, the churchill sized one, draw was perfect with ample smoke, smooth with some rich flavors (i was playing cards so i didnt devote a whole lot of time to the nuances, but i bought another so ill give it some real time when i get a chance)

You should also be looking for these others that I have tried that should be available soon:

Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur
New Cohiba (I don't know the name but I believe it is their first Nicaraguan)

I'm not a fan of either of these brands and do not smoke any other of their cigars but these two new offerings are excellent. The Hoyo is medium in strength and really tasty, and the Cohiba is comparable to the best Pepin Garcia is producing at the moment, and I really like Pepin's cigars. If you have tried Pepin's La Riqueza yet you should do so -- it's another winner.

I just finished my first Tempus a few minutes ago...it was the Lancero, a size I am generally not a big fan of...but this puppy was a hell of a smoke! Great draw, nice potent flavors (I'm not really one to get too deep into imaginary tastes) and it burned for about 80 minutes...and I smoke a little faster than the average...other than a bit of an uneven burn, the thing was stellar...will certainly be picking more up...hopefully somthing with a thicker ring gauge.
