My Nub sampler is on its way so I have not yet tried one. A few questions:
1. For those that have smoked the Nub has it been pretty much smokeable upon receipt or like most cigars have you been allowing at least some seasoning time in your Humi.
2. What is everyone's opinion on how these cigars may change over time with longer aging? Since these cigars are a different concept and construction I am not sure what long term aging may do to them...thoughts?

I have now smoked the majority of the vitolas and think that they are most assuredly smokable upon receiving them. I've read on two occasions that some purchases from cigar.com have come a little on the dry side and may benefit from some humi time. I can't speak if it wasn't operator error or offer my personal opinion, because all the sticks I bought were from an event or my local B&M.
I think that in the Habano line you can tell that a little time might help it along. While many liken the Habanos to V's, some age might take away some of the youth they have.
Just my opinion, others might feel differently.

Cyrann thanks. Where would you rate these in comparison to V's or other $8 and under NC's? Obviously they are cheaper but curious as to what you early opinion is flavor profile and enjoyment.
I have also smoked about all the various size, shape, wrapper combinations. I have a box of each wrapper type, in different shapes. I think they need about a week in the humidor to even out humidification, and that is it.
Don't expect the Habano to be a short fat V, it's not. The Nub is a good deal milder and less flavorful in my opinion. I think the Habano is a good cigar, but nothing special. I find little flavor in the Cameroons and they are my least favorite. The wrapper I think is the most remarkable is the Connecticut. I normally don't like Ct. wrappers, finding them bland and too mild. I have the 464T Ct., and they are actually flavorful to me, and I use them as a morning smoke. As a group, the Nubs are a decent cigar, just nothing to write home about.

I bought a box of the Habanos and I smoked one right away. I had a horrible time with it. Hard draw, uneven burn, and all the taste wasn't there. Smoked one the next week and it was getting a little better. After having them for about 3 weeks now, I have only smoked 4 and it seems that they are getting better and better. I am now gonna smoke one every 2 weeks and see where that takes it. If they only get better over time, I will probably put them on hold for a while and see what happens. As for comparing it to the V, it is not comparable. The V has a lot more strengh and flavor, plus a real oily wrapper. I would compare the Nub to the G though. They both have similiar taste characteristics. The Nub is more of a conversation starter smoke. Dont get me wrong, it is a good cigar, but there is more hype on the guage of the cigar than anything else. All in all if I had one in front of me, I would smoke it.

As stated above (didn't mean to lead you the wrong way) it is not a V, I was merely helping you along the way. I think there are minor similarities, but of course with the size, shape, rolling method it is going to smoke differently.
If I had to select a <8 dollar stick I would smoke the Oliva V all day long, but for a quick smoke all three are decent. Are there better sticks, yes, but is it low man on the totem pole, no.
I wrote a review in the review section a few weeks before they hit the market if you want my take on the cammy nub I smoked. It was a great afternoon when I smoked that, but the rest I have had might be a few points lower (now that I have smoked about a half a box of each wrapper).
The Habano 358 is still my favorite though...
