I was thinking of buying from the website cigar.com, but I was wondering if anyone had bought from here or has heard anything about it. Some of their prices seem a little high but then they have some cigars I can't find in my local shop.........suggestions?

I've bought singles from them before and think the customer service is excellent, and the selection is very good. But, (you knew this was coming didn't you) they are a little on the pricy side. Also, If you want to try a new cigar I would really reccomend buying more than one of that cigar (4-6 is usually enough for me.) That way, you can tell how they age and it's more represenative of how the cigar actually tastes. Here are a few sites that sell cigars in 4 & 5 packs at good prices:
I agree with smokiethebear, Cigar.com have a good selection, but prices a high. I am not suprised, with domain name like that you will get a lot of customers, so you don't have to worry if you selling your cigars more expensive than the other online stores.

I'm from North Hills, PA if your from Pittsburg its a small world. If your new go with JR's five packs & try a bunch of different kinds they are cheap. If you want a good box IMO, Toptencigars.net have a box of Padron Maduro 2K's for $55 a box. Good Deal. CheaperCigars.com also beats many places on price.
Where are you from in Pitt ?

I currently go to the University of Pittsburgh and I am from just north of Pittsburgh. I will look into some of the websites mentioned and see what they have to offer. Thanks for the help..

Here are some that I deal with all the time. Some are cheaper than others and some have great E-mails special. These are all reputable dealers I have done business with time and time again.

Hope this helps!
I just ordered from them last week. Great prices and the smokes came in excellent condition. Took em a couple days to send me an order conformation email (which I recieved by the way after I had emailed them to see what the deal was) and it turned out I got the smokes that same day, go figure. All in all it was a good experience and I'd reccomend giving them a try.

Try cigarexpress.com they are a local dealer up in New castle which is about 40 minutes from Pittsburgh airport. They have decent but not great prices on 3 and 5 packs for just about every cigar. What is nice is you can call and they will ship the cigars to a local shop which is either in Robinson Town Center or up to Wexford which I heard is a Huge store and with no shipping charges. Sometimes I drive to new castle when I have nothing to do they have over 400 cigar brands there and they give you a free perdomo cigar for every 5 cigars you buy.
I forgot to tell you if you decide to call cigarexpress there are cigars that they have that are not posted on the web for some reason such as the cao italia and the Oliva line of cigars.
Ok, I know that buying Thompson cigars is the best thing to do if you wish to get ostracized. But what I don’t know is, does this include “name brands”<like Padron, or LFD to name 2> or just Thompson’s house brands? Other than the fact that buying from them would put you on the mailing list from hell, what is the general consensus for name brands from “them”?
