We've been hootin' an hollerin' about just about every brand imaginable recently except La Flor Dominicana.

I had an El Jocko No. 2 Natty last night and i was reminded how good LFDs can be.

I've enjoyed just about their whole line from the 2000s, to the Gran Maduros, to the El Jockos, to the Ligeros and Double Ligeros (even the the DL can be a bit harsh some times).

Don't forget about this brand, solid Dominican flavor and pretty affordable to boot.

I enjoy the lfd ligero chisel very much, it's been one of the most consistent go to cigars i've smoked Wink

i love LFD DL's. The chisel shape is just down right really cool. Lets not forget the Litto Gomez's either.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

Have y'all tried the Ligero Oscuro yet? It takes the smooth creamy flavors of the Ligero and kicks it up just a knotch to make it a perfect evening smoke.
You definitely need to take one of these for a ride when you get a chance.

Have you seen one? They aren't much darker than an EMS.

I went to a LFD tasting at the local shop a few weeks ago and had one of the Oscuro Ligeros. Very good, like the ligero but way mellowed and smoother. At the tasting I was reminded of how important it is to keep La Flor Dominicana in stock at all times. They never fail me.

I went one further and dusted off a maduro chisel I had in my NC humidor. It was quite an NC moment for me, as I puffed and puffed and filled the room with all 1/3 of the stick that I smoked.

I must say...my efforts were quite rewarded when I looked at the band to see the nice pretty flower on it! Big Grin

I think that LFD's are the second best DR cigar.

1. Fuente
2. LFD
3. La Aurora

That may seem like a harsh critique, but I hold all three brands above in high regards. Though they are ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd, there aren't many points separting 1st and 3rd. LFD's are very consistent in quality and taste. If they only offered some perfectos they'd go up in my book. I'd love a double ligero perfecto! C'mon guys lets all write to Litto and tell him we want some perfectos!

They make the best NCs going IMO. The Ligero series is their bread and butter.
