No. All crap

Read, read and read some more. Read the Tonights Smoke thread each day. That will give you some ideas on what guys like. A good cigar all depends on what you like.

Yes. But again, it all depends on what you like and conversly dislike. If you keep reading on here, you'll see likes and dislikes.

Where do you live? Perhaps we can point you to a reputable tobacconist. Instead of "buying blind" over the internet or from a news stand, you can go there, look over the merchandise, talk to the tobacconist, hang out, talk to other shoppers, etc. It's a lot more fun than ordering assortment packs off of the internet.
Lol non-brown could also mean Candela wrappers, and I'd say stay away!!!!!!!! lol (they're green). Extension is right, talk to the tobacconist if you can. Lol thank God for my tobacconist, I bounce hundreds of questions off the man and he not only answers my questions, but then tells me the history of what I asked about, and yeah it's fun to talk to others about what they like and why they like them rather than order online. As for my opinion on good mild cigar, try a Perdomo Lot 23. I think they're well made, mild with a little spice, and at a good price. Tgherpst mentioned the Arturo Fuente sun grown, yummy get one of those and I swear you'll be happy, then move on from there. Anyway, have fun with this hobby we all love. Regards.

All the good stuff from CVS or WalMart most likely require a doctor's prescription to buy them....
Seriously, your local tobacconist should be able to help you with the mild brands, and you can't go wrong with the regular Padron line, particularly delicias or palmas, ashtons, montesino, cuesta rey, fuente 858 nat...long list.
In six months... the list will be even longer ..lol
Don't avoid the "black ones"...the maduros. You are possibly judging them as too strong, when in fact, often maduros are mild to medium (they can be strong too). The flavors are more complex in my opinion. Try Onyx Reserve Maduro. You will probably be pleasantly surprised. I totally agree: read "Tonight's Smoke". Enjoy!!

Don't look at the "light", run, flee, hie, get away quickly. Otherwise, you will spend all your cash on a noxious weed, all your time will be spent caring for it, making sure it is the right temp. and humidity. Buying God knows how may cutters, lighters, travel humidors, three-finger cases, desk top humidors, cooladores and other not yet precieved necessities.
It will lead to long hours contemplating the correct burn, length of ash, color of ash, toothiness of the wrapper, flavor of the first third, the middle third, and the last third. Household chores will not get attended to, yard work will cease to be attractive. You will lose contact with your friends, because they gather at places that are unfriendly to cigars.
The cost of it all will cause a large fortune to be come a small fortune, possibly leading to financial ruin.
Don't sweat the small stuff, ignore the signs, pay no heed to the man behind the curtin, kick back with a couple of fingers of Single Malt Scotch,(You are old enough to buy adult beverages aren't you? )and a PAM No.2 and leave the world for an hour or so.
When all things are said and done, more things will be said than done!
