Anyone have a suggestion for a smoke that does not have a lot of spice. Thanks.

I've never tasted what I would refer to as spice from a Padron maduro.

watch the padron video in the video section on this website. They talk about spice.

What you think is spice may be improper curing of tobacco, improper humidification, or just smoking too quickly.

I just like cigars, is that ok?

I've had a few cigars that have the taste I would call "spice" or even "pepper". The Rocky Patel Vintage conneticut shade toro is a good example.

Smoke, I would go for a Punch Rare Corojo and see how that works out for you. You might also try a Romeo & Julietta conneticut shade (any size, really). They tend to be pretty full bodied without a ton of "spice".

PS- There is a pretty big distinction between spice from the tobacco and spice from a dry gar. Hopefully, nobody ever has to have a dry cigar spice taste in their mouth Smile

I find the maduro non cc punches to be the spiciest of the spicy. I suppose everyone has a different idea of "spice" though.

I dunno if my taste buds are failing me, but I remember detecting spice in both the Camacho Select and the Arturo Fuente Hemmingway. Neither were exactly my cups of tea.
