I smoked the smallest NUB Conneticut this morning and I must say I was impressed, Smooth, creamy and medium to mild in body, great burn and a great draw. I was dubious about the name at first and hesitant to try them but I am really glad I did, I got a 6 pack with 2 Conn's, 2 Camr's, and 2 Habanos and I cant wait to try the rest.

I've had the Habano and I to was suprised at not only how well it smoked but how even the burn was too. I liked the smoke and could taste an oily taste in the smoke. Nothing overpowering just a mellow oil taste like evoo.

Quick question - My brother is coming through Grand Rapids and said he would pick me up some sticks. Who is better - Tuttles or Buffalo? Looking for Brown Tats and San Cristobal Guajiros. Cheers

I had a NUB conn the other day and I enjoyed it. it wasn't as stong as I would like so I bought a fiver of the habanos and I am hopeing that it has alittle more body.

In my experience the habano has more body than the connecticut, i enjoyed the habano much more than both the conny and cammy...the habano also has a bit of spice to it as well, hope this helps and let me know your thoughts after you smoke one!

I don't think either carries Tats...I know for a fact that Buffalo doesn't but Buffalo does carry a good assortment of San Cristobal's (last time i was there they did, about a month ago). I haven't been to Tuttles since the beginning of the summer. I like Buffalo better because it's closer to me and it's right off the highway, if you need directions let me know and I can get them to you!

Thanks for the info CUsccrstud21. My brother is just going to plug the info into his GPS and I am glad that it is just off the highway. Glad to hear about the San Cristobals and I think they are buy 3 get one free.

You are correct, pretty much anything in their stock is buy 3 get 1 free...everything except Fuente stuff...a lot of the times they'll have a 2 for 1 deal on some older stock (i got 2 camacho select super robustos with some seriously yellow cello for $9)

I was born in Menominee. Lived in Peshtigo for many years. Didn't really figure there were any other cigar smokers in that area, except for a guy I know who lives on first street. Glad to hear from you.

For those who have smoked nubs, did the thick rapper burn? I had a Habano, kept at 67% for over two weeks. I enjoyed the flavor but couldn't get the rapper to burn very well. Seemed to lag behind and let the cigar tunnel and then go out. Had to really work to keep it let and had to use my torch to touch up the rapper as it kept going out.

Mine burned fine no nuances at all with the wrapper. I smoked mine in roughly 45 minutes, it remained cool all the way throughout the smoke. Could of just been a bad stick.
