i was at my local shop last night and my buddy gaev me an Occidental Reserve to try. he swore it was the best cigar around for $3.50, even said it had the same tobacco as a Davidoff. (which i dont agree) well today i smoked it and it was an "ah" smoke. it was VERY light and mild good cigar for a hot day while maybe doing some window shopping. had a very mild flavor with kind of a white pepper finish. i noticed the stick was very mushy and got mushier as i smoked.im not sayign to was a bad smoke, i just much rather smoek a griffin if im going for a mellow light smoke not high ranking in my book, but since i have never heard of this brand i though i would ask around and see if anyone likes/dislikes these sticks. im not sayign to was a bad smoke, i just much rather smoek a griffin if im going for a mellow light smoke.

Outstanding cigar for the money. It's made for Alec Bradley by Henke Kelner, who also makes Davidoff, but you are correct that it does not use the same tobaccos.
I had one last night on a dinner cruise the wife and Iwent on.Vurned evenly ahd had excellent draw (even on a windy evening) Very nice smoke. Light but good taste. Nice woody smell. I enjoyed it on the salt air with a coffee.
I would definately have one again.
