hey guys- just bought a box of el rey del mundo robusto largas (oscuro). love the ERDMs, but noticed something strange about the wrappers. i know theyre infamous for being ugly...but some of the smokes in my box have these strange little pox marks looking things on them. theyre not holes like ive seen with beatles, theyre just little bumps. any ideas fellas? thanks in advance!
Not sure from your description. Does not sound like mold or bloom because you could dust that off. Going to have to hear from the "experts" like Docbarry, Stogie, DinDer, PMP etc. Could just be moisture mark on the leaf.

Post a picture. It's probably just tooth. The oscuro is wrapped with a very toothy connecticut broadleaf. The only other thing I could think of is maybe dimples in the wrapper from fluctuation in RH but that is unlikely in a new box from a reputable source.

I knew one of the experts would figure this out. Sorry to leave you off the list Captain! Now if someone would be kind enough to explain what tooth is??? Thanks

If it's small little "pimples" it's tooth. Tooth is small pockets of oil in the leaf. Amount of tooth varies from species and locality. Generally speaking, tobacco in full sun will generate more oils to protect the leaf from drying out. Also dry, harsh conditions can create tooth
That is why Cameroon wrapper is considered some of the toothiest wrapper around; it's grown in the scorching African country of Cameroon!
