Tried one of these babies today - robusto size. REALLY enjoyed it!
Again, I was expecting it to be a lot of marketing and very little cigar but it was impressive. The color of it was a nice medium brown, good construction, a nice even burn and best of all: GREAT TASTE. This is a nice medium bodied smoke with great flavor - I could taste spice notes, cedar notes, just a wonderful smoke. I will definitely get a box of these if I can.
Anyone else smoke 'em?

I had one the other day, but I didn't care for it. It burned well, but it had a charry taste. Maybe I'll try another one of these days.

I love the new Royal Jamaica Golds (aka Oro Rojo)!

Great great smoke. Try the Torpedo out too.

If these things were cheaper, I'd buy them all the time. The torpedoes sell for like $7 or 8 and the Robustos are $6 something at the shop in my area.

Work sucks.

I have a soft spot for royal jamacians, and this one is the first for a long time thats brings some pride to the band. They are a little expensive, but nice big cigars with a good rich flavour. Have smoked a box and had no construction issues- which is rare these days. The parklanes are more disapointing though, so i am sticking with the golds.

Had a toro sized the other week and it was very good. Draw was excellent, dark oily wrapper, wonderful aroma, think it is worthy of a 89-91 rating.
