Hello all, hope this message finds everyone well. I'm placing a new order threw CI and would like some opinions.

5 pack- Torano Exodus 1959 Torpedo
5 pack- Oliva Serie 'V' Special V Figurado
5 pack- MAXX the fix

Im not sure about the MAXX so some opinions on this one would be great.

I have not had the MAXX yet, but those other 2 should not disappoint. I think they are very good.

I agree with jlaker. Sorry I couldn't eb of more assistance with the Maxx. I just got an CI order today. Ten 601 Habanos, and a Don Pepin 6 pack sampler.

I placed an order with CI Friday afternoon. My order arrived at 10 AM this morning. I was amazed at the level of service.

I agree with jlaker, at least to the extent of the Oliva V. I've smoked a few of the different vitolas from that line, and have not been disappointed. I'm personally waiting for CI to get the Torpedo back in, but the Figurado is also a nice smoke.

The MAXX are decent. I'm just not a fan of the huge ring gauge. The 1959's and Oliva V's are both quality smokes.

I hear you...the Torpedo was my first choice. But i have heard so many good things about this cigar that i couldn't wait.

Looks like I may wait on the maxx till i can pick up a single. Unless someone can chime in.

My brother-in-law was over the other day and we sat out and had cigar on the deck. He smoked a MAXX "the curve". He enjoyed it well enough but didn't say it was great. For the price they are worth a try I would think.

There are a few reviews here:

Hope that helps some.

I LOVE the maxx. I am a big fan of the "the fix." For a cigar that is $4.20 I think it is awesome. Not terribly complex or overly strong. It has some cinnamon aroma and some cinnamon notes, kind of spicy, and has some woody earthy notes to it. I think they are rather good. I would recommend it. Plus they are full of tobacco so they can last a long time, and if you dont want to smoke for a long time, then your putting down a $4 cigar and you dont think twice about it. Get the Maxx or if your going for a cheap $4 smoke get some Padron 3000.
