Hello all. Im interesting in purchasing my first RP box. The only two that ive tried was the vintage 1992 and Sungrown. I really liked the 1992. Which RP do you enjoy the most?

My first box purchase was the Vintage 1992. I regretted the purchase and gave most away, however, if you are going to go with Rocky Patel, I'd go with the Decade. The Decades are quite nice.

Never a big fan of Rocky's cigars until the Decade, really like that cigar...torpedo, robutso, lonsdale. Then I had one of his Olde World Reserve Corojo Belicosos. That cigar changed my mind about the Decades, I prefer the OWRs much more. I even like them more than Padron super-premiums and for one reason. The flavor profile is almost identical to the Padrons, but there is an underlying sweetness the OWRs have that the Decade and Padrons do not. They are Rocky's best smokes IMHO.

I would say to go with the Decade torpedo or the OWR maduro. I think the OWR only come in boxes of 50 though. All of the others I am unsure of. It seems like he comes out with a new cigar/blend every week.

Had one of these yesterday and was quite impressed. Very spicy imo, so if that's not your thing stear clear, but generally an enjoyable smoke...

I was never a big fan of RP and will admit to trying the Decade torpedo only because of its big rating. In short, I thought the Decade torpedo was fantastic and have since bought a box.

you can get decade seconds on CI code named Liga D I think, well it's either D or E and one of the other is OWR for like 3 bucks a piece, you can figure out which one's which by looking at the sizes on the website. I got some from a trade with a few very nice BOTLs here and the information was divulged to me by another person, whom I cannot recall at this moment.

Decades, Sun Growns, and Edge are all great. I prefer the Edge purely because its value to price ratio is the best of the three, and I can buy far more of them than any others.
