Got two Padron 80th sticks today. It's just so hard to let them sit in the humidor. AARRGGGHHH!!! Just so tempting.

Let me know what you think of these. I have 3 in my humidor and a box of 8 coming in the New Year.

The P26/64 maduros are all outstanding smokes, so I expect these to be out of this world.

Apparently the P80 is a great cigar and will need 5 threads.

I haven't had one yet either. I really want to get my hands on a few before it's too late.

I have heard that they are going to continue to make it at least for a little while. I do not know how long though.

I picked my P80's up for $32 each and that was at a over-priced B&M I don't frequent, but they were the only shop in town with any left.

Was that at a B&M or over the net.I purchased 3 at a B&M in Manhattan. With that 38% tax on tobacco they where $38 a stick.

No offense to EC, but I don't see why people get bent out of shape when someone starts a new thread about a topic that has been beat to death over and over again already. Does it REALLY offend people when a new thread is started? Do you feel like your internet credit is being stolen by someone else getting to have their handle on the top of the thread? I just don't understand all of these uptight rules about forums. This is just a passive form of a chat room. Can't we all just go with the flow and concentrate on what we are here for, which is to talk about the things we love?

I purchased one for my New Years Eve smoke. It was pretty damn good, ill have to say. I cant compare it to a CC being that Ive never tried one. As for the price I paid $30.00 and plan on getting a few more to celebrate upcoming family BD's and special occasions.

well... 1 of the 2 is gone. smoked to a nub.

there is a definite "padron" aroma from the moment that it's lit. the first 1/3 was good, but not exceptionally complex. from 1/3 in it got much better and was truly a great cigar. there were some spicy notes, some leather and some definite nuttiness. it was a great cigar, HOWEVER, i'm not sure that it's significantly better than the other padron anniversary cigars i've smoked. i am looking forward to the other 80th still sitting in the humidor. we'll see how that one goes.

I agree. Sometimes I miss threads and I don't feel like searching for them.
