I wonder if any of you guys have any experience with cigars ordered online from CheaperCigars.com? I ask because they're so much cheaper on a lot of my favorite smokes that it makes me wonder if they're legit.

For instance, CC offers a box of 20 Por Larranaga Pyramids for $85 (compared to $117 at JR), or Avo No. 3 maddies for $122 (compared to JR's $139).

they are legit...i've ordered from them. many other posters have as well.

while some of their prices are good, most are average and some are pretty high. ya gotta break their balls a lil bit and negotiate a better deal sometimes.

fyi, bestcigarprices.com is closing out padillas right now...robustos are $58 a box.

alright...i'm out for awhile.

I was going to order from them once, and got an email days later that my product was not in stock. They said it would only be a couple of days until they had some and they would let me know. 2 weeks later I had no cigars. I cancelled my order, had to have my CC refunded and have never gone back since. If you just want cheap I'd reccomend Atlantic Cigar over cheaper, just MHO.

You may also want to check Smokeall.com. I highly recommend them, although they have stock issues sometimes.

Smokeall is good. Again, for NCs I now exclusively use eSmokestack.com. Good luck.

I've used them a couple of times ....good prices and well packaged, but seems to take forever to get them (almost two weeks at times). During the Summer, I'm always concerned with beetle problems because of the heat they are subject too during ground shipment from California.

I wish you had the option to send them USPS....fast & cheap.
Cool

I bought 1 box of Padron 2000s from them. They were good about responding to emails, and I received my order relatively promptly. The cigars smelled funny though...not sure what was up with that. That was the only box of Padrons I've ever had, so maybe that's just how they smell. They tasted great tho!

They ship from somewhere in Arizona. It may be a good idea to place your order over the weekend, or early Monday morning. Then it'd probably ship on Monday and get out of that arid environment ASAP once it leaves the humidor.

Sure you have - they are rolled on the thighs of ex-cheerleaders who have let themselves go. Which one is named Mel?

Have ordered quite a few boxes from Mel; absolutely NO problems here! His prices on the Gran Habano #5 are fabulous! (one of the few NC's I smoke).

I've dealt with Mel many times over the last year or so and he has always done stand-up business with me...in fact an order got lost in shipping and he proptly replaced it - no fuss
no muss. Sometimes he may be overwhlemed nad faces stock depletion..but that can happen to any vender. Wink

I have ordered from them before with no problems but they are not always the cheapest in price. I always shop around and order from several online companys.
