I definitely have to call my local and see if I can get an order of these. I am a huge Oliva fan!

If you like Oliva Series V, treat yourself to an Oliva Master Blends 3.

There's a story on the V Maduro in today's Cigar Insider. Also, I'll have a blog on the cigar this week. I smoked one recently with Jose Oliva.

I just saw Dave's video blog on the new V and it looks great. It will realse 2 times once on the 15th and the 25th. The 25th is my b-day so if anyone wants to send me some that would be ok with me. The MSRP before taxes is around $7.50

Gee,
We used to be able to see a snippet of Cigar Insider. Not the whole site:cigar reviews, etc. But now they want us to pay 50 bucks or whatever it is just to see the 8 pages of info we used to could see for free. Unless I missed a link to what I used to could see.

Superior Cigars has them for $110 a box. Seems a little steep. Although tempting I'm not biting. Never heard of or used this retailer. I'll take my chances with a backorder from CI.

Here

Bit of a thread hijack, but someone above mentioned the Oliva Master Blends, and I see those on lots of people's wishlists. Are they that good? Any thing comparable/a review anywhere?

These are my favorite.
I haven't found that these rate all that highly when compared to the V. You may notice that the V's have more in your face flavor. But to this date, I haven't found a smoother more enjoyable cigar than the MBIII Dbl Robusto. I do have some of the original MBs that I haven't smoked yet. Along with some MBIIs. Maybe they can prove me wrong.
Wish I had one right now.

there is no back order on these. oliva shipped everything out and according to their reps what they shipped is what retailers will get. nothing more.

There was an Oliva tasting party at my b&m thursday evening. I believe they received 15 boxes on Thursday, and were limiting them to two per customer.

Very enjoyable. Nice and spicey and full bodied with a pretty good burn. Some people had some issues with having it go out, but again a very enjoyable cirgar. Let's just say I stopped at another b&m in the area the following day and picked up 4 more out of the two boxes they had just received.
