Have a good day everyone.

I enjoy the Oliva V's very much, especially the Torp and the Figurado. It's hard to say if you are going to like them being that we have no idea what you regularly smoke or what your tastes are.
I know people that love them and I know people that would rather smoke the Oliva Gs. It is all a matter of opinion.
[EDIT: Oh and the price that Famous is right around par for the Oliva V's, but finding them anywhere can difficult at times. So if you like them and you can get them, then go for it!]

DAMN, Im Thirsty! I want a beer, how bout you? You want a beer?
I've been enjoying the Series V (all sizes) for quite awhile now. The Torpedo was one of my "go to" cigars. I've always had a box on hand before the CA Review. Since then I've moved on to the Double Toro, which are still easy to find. Well worth the price of the smoke in my opinion.
V.O. - flyboy... that was supposed to dupe US customs, not YOU! Remove the printed bands and see what they are....
You should just go ahead and spend a little more money and get the Oliva Serie S in the churchill or the diadem 7x48 they are both such exellent cigars. You will be amazed compared to the serie v.

Interesting observation. I just had my first V Figurado last week (that I enjoyed very much) and have a couple of the Serie S Diadema waiting (the 7x48 Diadema, not the much longer one). Now that you mentioned it, I'll try to pay particular attention.

I still like the doble robusto and torpedo the best
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
