I've been smoking cigars for about twenty years, most of my experience is with NC's. However, for the past five years I've been living, teaching and working in Canada and have smoked only CC's. So, my question to you is " What NC that has been produced over the past five years must I try before I die? I'm looking to head to the States next month and I hope to have at least of week of doing nothing but smokeing and drinking.
I second any of the Padron Anniv. (64, 40 year, 45, 80, etc). Also, give some of these a try:
* Any Tatuaje Brown Label * 601 Green Label (corona is my favorite) * Padilla Miami 8&11 (corona is my favorite) * Oliva Serie V (torpedo or lancero) * Litto Gomez Small Batch #2 (a little bit harder to find) * Coronado by La Flor Dominicana
Sometimes when spelunking through the psyche the little miners light goes out....
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
