I had a King B yesterday at a shop in Dallas. I think (as did the tabacconist) that this the same blend as the Cuban Beli, but in a different shape...the King B is actually a #2 size Pyramid vs the Belicoso. Fuente has both of these vitolas in the Don Carlos line as well.
Great cigar, maybe just a little pricey at $6.

It is a #2 Shape vs. the traditional belicoso. The cigar is the same blend (both I and my local tobacconist) as the Cuban Belicoso. The Don Carlos line features both of these sizes too.

I smoked a King B on Thurs night and it was... just ok. It smoked terribly and just didnt make me happy. I lit it 5 times before i just said of screw it. The burn was not fluid at all and that was the entire box. We had a Davidoff Smoker at my local smoking pad and it was terrible. After the rep left, we lit up some of these B's and only one smoker was pleased. The rest threw it out in disgust and went on to smoke Opus.
The Fuente rep spoke highly of it and really encouraged us to give it a go. We polished off the whole box in less than an hour. I think a customer bought it and gave it out as small, smokable gifts. I love the cuban Beli's but this smoke seemed to have the same characters but less punch. I loved the tobacco concept but give me a better smoke and ill smoke it!!!

General thoughts are that they are shipped too wet....they have a rosado wrapper btw

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries. -David Savona

The King B definitely needs some drying out. I would give them a good month of drying before I would try one again. The wrapper is different than the one on the Cuban Beli, it is a Rosado wrapper grown by the Oliva family in Ecuador.

Had one... I loved it, there was most definatly a burn issue. Couldnt get the wrapper going, like an oily opus in that sense. But most definatly its a Rosado wrapper for those who dont know, it tasted like most of the rosado's I have had in the past (they have a distinct flavor, obviously!) From what I have heard they are already out of them, so buy'em if you can find'em. Ryan
The only Fuente that has ever disappointed me. A sheer waste of $10 at the rip-off Signature Cigars in Rockville, MD. THe storekeeper promised me this was a great cigar. I had heard alot of hype surroiunding it so I thought Id give it a try. THe first thing I noticed was the terrible burn. Needed serious touching up. The taste was flat. Reminded me of the Cuban Belicoso which I am not fond of either. Just not a good cigar. I would rather pay $10 for an 858!
