Hey get off of my NFC's! Those are damn good sticks, regardless of price. They actually taste like a blend of Nic/Hon, definitely not straight Nic tobacco. If I gave you guys a Punch, a Hoyo and a NFC you'd have trouble telling which was which. I've given them out in blind tastings to my cigar snob friends and they all loved 'em. My other friend who is a total snob and NEVER orders online bought two bundles after he tried my NFC's.
You guys who turn your nose up at a cigar just because there isn't a nekkid lady in the ad or because you didn't see them on The Soprano's need a tastebud adjustment. I'm just the guy to do it too, using my size 14 combat boot to tickle your tonsils starting from the posterior route. Scratch that, some of you might enjoy that.
Wow binder, NFC's and cheap barber pole cigars - Are you short on cash this month? You can do whatever you want with your taste buds but leave mine out of it, my tonsils as well.
Hard work may pay off eventually but laziness always pays off now.
I smoke what I like and like what I smoke. I have humi's full of Opus, PAM and Cubans. You can't eat steak breakfast lunch and dinner. You want junkfood once in a while!
Also, I don't light up a PSD#4 to mow the lawn and I don't smoke a PAM Dip on the commute home. The NFC's and Fonseca's have their place too.
I went through my cigar snob stage and then I realized that I could enjoy a few top shelf cigars a week or a moderately priced cigar daily. You know what? The quiet reflection and relaxation is the same whether you smoke a Consuegra (Feh!) or an VSG.
I would rather smoke less frequently than smoke most bundles. Call me a snob if you want. I just don't enjoy them. Why pay half price for bundled cigars when I know I am going to get pissed and chuck half of them across my yard when I light them up and they suck? Apparently a snob is someone who is willing to pay extra and forego the aggravation. My 2 cents.

Here's my 2 cents. I like to smoke quality cigars. Quality meaning good construction, great taste, even burn, nice draw, etc. If that cigar costs a dollar, great. But I am not going to sacrifice any quality to get a cheap cigar. I don't smoke just to smoke. When I smoke, I want quality. I only smoke a few times a week, which makes it a lot easier.
If someone wants to buy cheap cigars that may be lacking in quality, so be it. Everyone has different tastes and priorities. But I don't think people who don't like cheap cigars should be labeled snobs. It's not that they don't like the price - it's the quality and substance of the cigar they dislike.

Between Rob and Pm that's 4 cents; almost enough for me to buy a bundle!
I have been in constant search for good smokes at a low price. Sometimes you find 'em. I consider Consuegra's and Old Fashiond's to be a good cigar for around a buck each. I also enjoy ERDM's, Hoyo, and Punch. These are not buck a stick cigars. Since I like to have a couple of cigars a day, I stick with Connie's and OF's for an everyday smoke.
There; now you have MY 2 cents worth!

You know, Tim, I think you probably would have loved the 1 o'clock madness deal a couple weeks back when they sold Bolivar Fuerte 754's for $2 a stick. That is a mighty large cigar at a really nice price.

I got lucky that week and was able to get in on the deal. I really like them. But, they're not as strong as Lew claims they are. Still a very good smoke.
