Found a nice stash of these in sizes I haven't seen around here before at a not too often frequented shop near my house. I have a couple in my humi, but before today had not tried one and was saving it for my birthday in July. So I bought a few more at this shop and smoked a Monarch this afternoon. I can't say anything negative about this cigar. It was so unbelievably enjoyable that I'm quite certain everything else in my stash will now be a dissappointment! All that money down the drain when I should have only been buying these and VSGs and Don Carlos. This board has elevated my tastes to the cream of the non-cuban crop and I'm not sure my wallet will take it. Thanks again guys!

Smoked a Monarch about 2 months ago and none of my cigars taste the same anymore. The ones I thought were medium to full are tasteless and the full flavored ones are only marginally tasty. PAM 64 is going to break my cigar budget.

I use to smoke these daily. Then I stoped almost to years ago, because I got so boried of them. They just don't do anything for me anymore. On a side note the same thing happened with the Fuente Hemmingway line.

hmmmmm....Maybe this is a case for moderation. I mean, aren't the best things in life partly so special because you don't experience them all the time? Sorry you got burned out on such an amazing cigar.

Padron 1964 Anniversary Series, Maduro, or specifcally, the acronym PAM 64 is Padron Anniversary Maduro 1964. You'll also see PAN 64 which is in reference to the natural wrapper version of that line.

i've had the torpedo and a monarch and i think they're an amazing line. so expensive, but so delicious. really i think they're only meant to be celebration cigars.
One of my absolute favorites. I keep about 5 on hand, but I usually buy the K series, the 3K. They are very similar, and for the money, It's hard to buy one 64 for the price of 3 or 4 3K's.
Somewhat off the subject but I had the 1926 series over the weekend and was blown away by the huge flavor - over the top actually. I'll be prepared for the second one.
Is there a place online to buy the 64 and 26? I have only been able to find a couple and they want $80 for the 5 pack! I only pay 2/3's of that for my Cohiba Robustos!!!

I have the same question. i think i gotta get me a box
Yeah, be ready to pay in the $12-15 dollar range for PAM 64's. They ain't cheap. The only online place I would trust for PAM's is Cigarbid.com, otherwise I get all of mine locally. Also, the PAM 26's are better, but even pricier and harder to find. I like to keep about 12-25 PAM 64's on hand and half a dozen 26's. That right there will consume the equivalent of more than a month of cigar budget. I too, agree that they are pricey compared to Cubans. I can get PSD #4's delivered to my doorstep for around $10 a stick. Unfortunately I like what I like so I am going to keep smoking PAM's and Cubans. To deny yourself either is a bit like Atkin's diet...it just isn't natural.

PAM should cost you no more then $9 a stick. I have never had to pay more then $215 for a box of exclusivos.
