does anyone know if at these promo events. Do the manufacturers bring the same cigars that I can buy, or are they a higher quality blend. I always feel that the ones they give away are of better quality than when I go home and buy a box of them. I have discussed this with some of my friends and they tend to agree. What do you guys think?

I picked up some Camacho Selects at an event last year and I have been pleased with every stick that has come out of the box I bought.

As a retailer I can assure you (with premium cigar companies) that it is the same cigar at an the event, as it is for retail purchase.

I guess it is like getting caught up in the moment. they just taste better to me at one of those promos!

I felt that way sometimes with new releases. Try one or two, taste great. Buy a box a few months later, not as good.
