i need a box of Padron 80th or Opus X shipped to my brother's house in the states. My parents are presently there, and I want them to bring me back a box.

Only problem, is that I have never ordered NC's online before... so I have no idea where to go. I'm not even sure these boxes can be had online... or what Opus to take... are all the sizes similarly blended or do they have a different taste profile each ??

my bro lives in Seattle.. so I guess a west coats place would be preferable.. but not necessary..

Any recommendations guys ??

Boxes are tough to come by via the net for each of those...but you can try a reputable shop that I have used here on the west coast:

Danville Cigars (licensed Opus X dealer)
925-831-8899
(Good prices on Opus X, a bit overpriced on the Padrons)

Serious Cigars used to have 80th, but I don't see them anymore. I ordered a box for a gift for $240.

Tower Cigars(http://towercigars.com) has 80th both in Natural and Maduro for $225. Good price, but you may want to confirm they have them in stock before ordering.

Jack Schwartz (www.jackschwartz.com) has some Opus' in stock. You may be better off ordering the Journey to Chateau de la Fuente as it comes with 4 cigars for $150 plus some music Smile That's only $37.50 a cigar where you can order them in singles for $40 a piece at jack schwarts.

As someone else mentioned, members may have boxes they would be willing to part with. Check with Doc, though I can't imagine he would relinquish any of his Sunday Smoke stash Wink

Getting a box of P80's maduro is highly recommended, but finding a box is slim to none.

I checked my usual on-line sources and they do not have any in stock.

To reiterate what others have said, both boxes are hard to come by, but the P80 is much more likely to be found at MSRP. The places I know of that do not gouge on Opus do not allow box purchases, usually a 2 single max.

Best of luck to you though, and I am happy to stop by jackschwartz and check out their stock for you. I would even purchase for you if need be, but I think you are better of doing it online and saving the 23% taxes.

You might want to e-mail Tampa Sweethearts as well for a list of their rare cigars. You will not get a box of Opus from them, but they do have some neat stuff.

Personally, I say go with Padron. I like ll the Anni's and they're easier to find.
