I am not asking about any spesific RyJ. My question is: Does anybody smokes them? I never read anybody discussing them or recommend them to anybody. I am talking about Dominican once. For me Vintage or Reserva Real is excellent morning cigars.

Every once in a while, I'll pick up a RyJ from the tobacconist. They're good smokes, my favorite probably being the Reserva Real and Vintage.

I think it's a matter of their mild flavor profile. I had a RyJ Reserve Maduro a few days ago. A nice cigar, but to me, there always seems to be "something missing" with RyJs...pleasant, but not satisfying. Even with the Maduro, you only get hints of the flavors in the cigar IMHO.
Everybody's tastes are different, but I think I'd rather spend my time with something with a bit more flavor/stronger.
Cool

I like the Reserve Mads #4. Good tasty cigar.

I smoke the 1876 and Reals when I get them in assortments or trades. Usually as commuting sticks, around the house or yard work. Not much there to keep my interest otherwise.

I enjoy the RyJ Bully and the Vintage III. Vintage III has a nice aroma, a little mild but a good smoke.

I tried to like the Reserve Maduros, but I just never developed a taste for maduros in general.

I love the Cedros deluxe #1 and #2 tho. I went thru a box of #2, and every single one was a pure delight. Not a bad apple in the bunch.

I started out smoking these. Sometimes I go and pick one up. I don't like them as much when they started changing them up but I like the vintage.

I use to really enjoy these as a morning cigar. When I need something on the milder side now I go for a Casa Torano.

They are good quality, excellent consistency, and always had a good burn and draw. I think my tastes have just outgrown them.

I have tried to enjoy RyJ Dominicans but they are simply too mild for me.

I enjoy the Reserva Reals for a nice morning smoke with coffee. The problem is I rarely get the chance to have a nice morning smoke with coffee.

I have really come to love the Reserve Maduros...just let them rest for a few months and they reall taste good. The Robusto size has had the best flavor out of the bunch so far in my opinion.

Anyone like the Dominican RyJ Petite Numero 2 (en tubos)? I have smoked a couple of these lately and they were pleasant.

I like both the Bully from the regular R&J line, and the larger (V and VI) from the Vintage line. These are great cigars. They are milder than many brands, yet I find that they have a great flavor, are smooth, always stay lit, and the draw is great...give lots of smoke.
