One-off and One-Off Allegria, who has tried these? Are they worth the money and how did you like them? I did a search but came up with nothing at all, I notice know one talks about them but I was curious.
Thanks in advance. Wink

I have a One-Off Allegria Robusto in my humi that I got for free because of a bad experience with a vendor. I have not smoked it yet, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know what I think of it.

I am curious too what others think of these.

not a problem stogie. It may be about two weeks or so because I think I received it being a little dry and I want to make sure it is in good shape to smoke.

By the way, what box of cigars did you decide to get with the extra cash you had?

I have had the Allegria Robusto, and really liked it. The Allegria line is at a better price point then the regular line, and thats a good thing. I didn't however like the other two sizes it come in. From the regular oneoff line most of the one I like are from there european line. I would suggest never buying a oneoff perfecto. They just can't seem to get that shape right

I thought the couple Allegrias I tried were pretty good, nothing special. But the regular line wasn't worth the price IMO.

I had one Allegria Robusto and it was decent.
Very mild but had a nice flavor. Had a bit of spice to it, not peppery spice, more of an aromatic spice if that makes sense. It started off kinda harsh but changed into a pretty nice smoke.
Had nice construction, nice even burn.
Not a bad smoke, not a superb smoke.

A decent mild-medium cigar, but not worth the $$$. Little Taste of Cuba in Princeton and New Hope is the only brick & mortar place I have seen them near me.

I got a fiver off C-bid of perfectos, decent smoke no burn issues with any good aroma, kinda light on the flavor or complexity. Spend your money on CC if you are goning to spend that much
my 2 cents.

hey Stogie, I just smoked one of the One-Off cigars. It was an Allegria robusto. It was a very different cigar from what I usually enjoy smoking. Here is my little review:

When I cut the cigar, the wrapper split. Luckily, I was able to keep the wrapper together by moving the band down over the split. Problem solved. The draw was very easy, almost loose. I put the flame to it and started puffing. It started off very sweet. This thing produced TONS of smoke. After several puffs, I noticed something odd. The aftertaste tasted like... pot (I have a feeling I'm going to get ragged on for this one). I know this sounds really weird, but that was the only thing I could think of. Luckily, that continued only for about a quarter of the stick. Later into the cigar, it began to taste salty, almost hinting of sour with slight understones of an espresso. Half way through, a little bit of spice came through. The burn was slighly off, requiring a tough up every now and then.

I ended up putting the cigar out a little over half way through. I just got tired of tasting sweet salt. I know that my review sounds different from nautwerks review, but that's what I got from this cigar. I know that you shouldn't judge just from one cigar, but I don't think I'll be trying the cigar again.

Hope this helps!

Eddie

Thats kind a pricey for salty pot. I could get it cheaper if I was still into that.

I lit a one-off that was in the humidor this afternoon. I didn't like it at all. I found it really harsh on the palate. I gave it to my husband thinking he might like it because he prefers stronger cigars than I do, but even he said it sucked and tossed it less than halfway thru.

Not a problem Stogie. Glad you didn't buy it either. I had to light up a Hemingway Best Seller right afterwards to thank my taste buds for dealing with that dogrocket. They were very relieved.
