Somewhere I've read where we can send cigars to the military overseas. Does anyone have an address or information about this action? Would like to send some. Kahana 13

Check out the "Dear Editors" board. There was a topic posted by Jsnowden. It is called " Send Cigars to Fallujah Marines " , it will give you all the info you need. Wink

Here I'll make it easy:

I encourage readers of Cigar Aficionado to send support -- and maybe a few good cigars -- care of:

Major B. Ballard
BSSG-1, GS Company
UIC 42355
FPO AP 96426-2355

Sincerely,

James R. (Jim) Snowden, Lieutenant Colonel, USAF (retired)

Major Ballard and Co are home now, so don't send anything to that address. I'm supposed to get an address for his Army brother who just went into Iraq. if and when i do, I'll let you know.

Mike

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
