I am always looking for a good cheap cigar but I am always cynical about finding one. Has anybody tried the cigar.com house brands? They are listed as red label, blue label, etc... I have tried 2 different connie's and had 1 good 1 bad. I want to try the old fashioned's and I saw a listing for Aurora segundos. Thought that might be a possibility. However, if I bought one of each, I could have one box of very fine cigars. I just want to be able to make an educated decision. I know to stay away from the T's. Just curious. Smile

Don't know about those but if you're looking for cheap give Flor De Oliva a try the bundles I have had had have always been top notch for the price. Another good one to consider would be the JR Cuban Alternatives(Cohiba Robusto) but if you do try the house brands let us know what you think I for one am always looking to try new stuff

I've tried a few of the cigar.com house brands and can recommend the cameroon and cuban labels. Both are very smokable, nice draw, even burn with good flavor. The cuban label in particular has a really excellent peppery finish that's nice. And at less than $3.

The construction of the cigars is sometimes not up to par with premium brands, but they're a good everyday smoke. Roll Eyes

I would say you are better off with seconds than house brands. Just my opinion but house brands often seem very cheaply made to me.

A lot of times there isn't a difference between the house brands and seconds, sometimes the house brands are the seconds which have been privately labeled, same cigar, different label.

House brands are not made in house. They are made by the same companies who make the premiums and seconds. They all come from the same factories. Where or what factories is completely up to the people paying manufacturers to put the house lable on their cigars.

Exact Cigarsmoka. Many times a manufacturers seconds and a companies house brands are indeed the exact same cigar.
