I will say to go with the Padron, I'm not trying to be different, but opus and Tat could always benefit with aging, while the Padron anni actually looses flavors, according to many people here, if you wait too long to smoke it. But there's really no wrong choice there.

Yea the opus is definitely not ready, you should age it for a year before you smoke that. The Tat is good to go, but will be better with time on it.The Padron anniversary series are aged for a very long time before they are rolled and released to public, so they are ready to smoke now and from what I hear from most members here does not improve much with age, they are great now and you don't need to wait on it, in fact, waiting on it could cause it to loose flavor. I never experimented as every Padron anni I bought I smoked almost right away.

Happy birthday!! I'm smoking the #9 maduro as I type. Great smoke.
I've never had that Tat, and I wasn't impressed with the Opus X Beli out of the box. I'm leaning towards the Tat as I've never had one. I've smoked tons of 1926's.
If you've never had a 1926, I'd say go with that. It won't let you down. Otherwise, the Tat
In "Tonight's Smoke" I indicated the #9 was spicier than I remembered. About 1/2 way through it really mellowed out. Fantanstic smoke!
Padron 26. I disagree about padron losing flavor though. the k series improve drastically with six to twelve months. the sixty four's are great with two plus years. and the twenty six are superb anytime after a month of rest.
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
