I'm gonna keep a webpage with the top 20 NC's that we all consider "Box Worthy" purchases. It'll be a reference for us to see who has the best prices at a glance. I'll update it on a monthly basis.

Here are my ideas for some sticks that many of us seem to buy by the box:

1. ERDM Robustos
2. Casa Torano Robustos
3. Chateau Fuente Sungrowns
4. Oliva Gran Maduros
5. Flor de Oliva Maduro Bundles
6. CAO Italia Ciaos
7. Padron 6000
8. Camacho SLR Robustos
9. Torano Exodus (Gold/Silver)

Let me know what you all think.

Great list Andy! You've already hit most of my favorite humi-stuffers..... other than the LGC Serie R #7 Maddies....but I doubt that most folks buy them by the box routinely...

Padron 3Ks seem to be pretty popular with a lot of people for a go-to as well.

Looks good!
BTW...I take it you liked the Chateau Fuente Sungrowns Big Grin
Cool

You got that right Bob.
Those Sungrowns you sent me are fantastic. To me, they are easily the best Fuente I have smoked to date. Thanks again!
I'll add the Padron 3K's and the LGC Series R #7's.

I am betting that we need a couple of Rocky Patel smokes on that list too.

AF CF SG's have to be in the top. They're awesome.

I'd vote Padron 3k's over 6k's. Alotta people here wont shell out the money for the 6k's imo (me included)

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

I want to trade in my vote for the LGC Serie R #7 Maddie for the Ashton VSG (any) Big Grin

Seriously....I love those bad-boys; the Serie R, but they are definitely not a daily smoke...unless you're retired and can spend a couple of hours on one cigar.... I just wish they could pack those flavors into a 45-60 minute smoke.....the VSG robbie is a better choice.
(here I am arguing with myself...my wife is away for the weekend, so I've got to stay in practice....)
Cool

Can you really buy cigars by the box? Confused Maybe I should do that sometime if I can ever get enough $$ together.

Seriously, I was wondering if Casa Toranos came in robustos -- I'd just seen them in -- I think -- Toros and that's all the shop had when I asked. Gotta get back to Cigar King, didn't have much time and it's like half a mile out of the way, obviously not far but when time is limited ....

My recet NC box buys have also included RP Sun Grown Torps and Oliva Master Blends churchills. Don't know if they'll make the top 20 but they have at my house.

How the hell could I have forgotten padilla hybrids and padrons. Those definitely need to be on a top 20 list too. For mild cigars I love the ashton classics although they are pricey. The VSGs are great too although I never buy boxes of them. For box purchases I usually stick with cheaper stuff. For that price, may as well get a box of habanos.
