I prefer to call it a lifestyle, not a hobby, haha. Just kidding. Welcome. I really like fuente and padron cigars which can be had for under 10.00. There are many great experts on here so I think you will find some good advice.

Welcome Mike. I wouldn't call myself an expert, but rather a connoisseur of fine cigars. I'll tell you what I like, if you want to try them it's totally up to you. I'm sure you might have tried some of these by now, and they don't cost an arm and a leg.

CAO Gold, Punch Gran Cru, Maria Guerrero, Sancho Panza, Oliva Classic, Helix, and Cusano.

By no means am I experienced. I started putting time and effort into cigars about a year ago and there are people that have been "connoisseurs" since before I was born on here...with that said my pallette is partail to any of the Punch Double Maduro's. I love the After Dinners, a nice, smooth, rich smoke but the burn is not always consistant. They are very inexpensive too.

Read the Tonights Smoke thread each day. You'll get an idea of what people like.

Then buy some singles/5 packs and try a bunch of different cigars. If you're price range is $10 or below, there will be plenty of cigars to try.

I would suggest the regular line of Padrons, the 2000's, 3000's, 4000's, etc. Some of the best cigars for the money,IMHO.
