The Cuban flavor is just not found outside of Cuba. That said, try the Cabaiguan brand. They're made by Pepin Garcia and may come closest to a Cuban taste - though they're still not quite there yet. You likely will have to order them off the internet. If you're interested, let me know and I'll give you a great site for a shop in California that sells them.
The soil and climate is diffeent enough in Cuba to result in a different taste that simply can't be reproduced.

Funny you should suggest Cabiguan ... the first time I smoked one of DPG's other cigars, the Padilla Miami 8&11 robusto, it reminded me of the PSD#4.
So, in addition to Scottological's recommendation, I would also suggest the Padilla Miami 8&11 torpedo. It is similar in *style* to the PSP and has a similar wrapper shade too. But Scott's right...there's nothing really "close." Besides, the Cuban Partagas are actually cheaper than Miami-made Cabiguans and Padillas depending on where you buy.
