Has anyone tried one of these Nicarauguan's??? it is full flavored and burns like a chanp. It is produced by Altadis (maybe a subsidiary of TTT?).

It's a crap ripoff of Rocky Patel's Edge. A very ordinary cigar at best and nowhere near the edge in appearance, quality or flavor. My local B&M shop sent their boxes back to Altadis.

Interesting, I've been smoking allot of Rocky Patel's sticks recently; the sun grown belicoso and the box pressed vintage '92. So that's probably why the taste was similar

The worst part is how shamelessly a big giant like Altadis knocked off Rocky's packaging, right down to the rustic box. If you notice, Rocky Patel had to take out ads in Cigar Aficionado with the "accept no imitations" theme. Sad for a gaint company like that with huge marketing resources to take the low road. At least if the cigars weren't so painfully mediocre there would have been some redeeming value.
