In Paris there is a cigar lounge called Napoleon's. It was reccomend to me by a few people here when I visited Vegas over the new year. Make sure not to miss this place, I was there almost every night Also if you are looking for what is likely the best dinner in Vegas, albiet expensive, try and get a table at Del Monicos in the Venetian. It's Emeril's steakhouse and is without a doubt one of the finest dinners I've had (Cesear Salad, lobster bisque, chateaubriand, and parmasean truffel chips, god was it good). They also have a nice cigar and port selection, their Opus X 'A's are 90 dollar, yowza. O, also a great place for lunch is Olives in Bellagio. Wonderful Pumpkin soup and a great foie gras ravioli.
I go to vegas often but never go big with food because I am essentially there to gamble. I like the pizza joint at MGM or the fatburger next door. Shrimp cocktail at the four queens (if you go downtown) is 2 bucks. The Mcdonalds is also nice. Have a good trip. Save some money for the ride home. I always forget that part.

Sounds like a great time brewing. Have fun and like PMP said save enough to get home.
One place we like to eat at is Chinois - one of Pucks joints. Real nice change of pace. Located in Ceasars.

MCnut, I had a buddy that worked at the chinois in santa monica. The day he quit he told wolfgang puck to F - Off for refusing a photo with him. He was a funny guy.

Wow PMP! I have heard mixed reviews on Puck and how he behaves. Some pro and some con.
All I know is the last time we were in Vegas we ate there 3 evenings out of 8. Not the type of food we get out here in the sticks.
By the way, are you still looking at culinery school??

LOL! Thanks for the advice bro but I had my girlfriend with me so I didn't have too.
I went by the Napoleon but didn't get to stop in. That's a definite for next year's trip.
I enjoyed my first JDN Celebraccion inside Harrah's piano bar. That place was amazing. It was almost the funnest atmosphere I have ever been in. 2 hot blonde sisters playing the piano with great crowd interaction. The JDN was amazing. I will be picking up a box of those.
I also had my first Ashton VSG while watching 4 straight Bellagio fountain shows. I love that show, especially at night. I got some great photos, and my friend gave me some excellent photography advice.
Overall it was a great trip, even though we went on the cheap and stayed at Imperial Palace. Boy that place is a $h1t pit. Although their "dealertainers" were pretty fun. When the Michael Jackson impersonater came to deal blackjack, the announcer recommended everyone play at his table because he doesn't hit on anything over 12.
Plans for next year: Stay at Luxor or NYNY, hit Napoleon's, go back up the Eiffel Tower, and see a few shows.
Oh by the way, did a lot of gambling and came back with a $25 profit.

Sounds like a good trip. I almost always stay cheap when I go. No sense in wasting all your dough on a hotel room you never even stay in. Although if you go in the off season you can find deals on places like mandalay and mgm. Also getting rated helps a lot. I get some decent comps every year now. Anyway, Glad you had a good time.
