I have smoked a couple Perdomo Champagne Robustos. My local shop has a good supply of them. I like them very much. They are one of my new favorite cigars with a connecticut shade wrapper. They are a solid medium bodied smoke with a very delicate and refined flavor. The construction and burn were also excellent. I hightly recommend them to anyone who is a fan of connecticut shade wrapped cigars. It was very similar but slightly better IMO than the connecticut wrapped padilla.

I've had so many poor expierences with Perdomo cigars at this point that I was aprehensive to try one from the new line. If I can find one for a reasonable price around here (ha!) I'll have to give it a go.

I just received one from al@perdomo. It looks very nice, but I'll probably wait a month or so before I light it up. Glad to hear you've had good experiences with them pmp.

I might try one, but my experience with Perdomo has not been good. I had someone gift me some of the Cuban Parejo Perdomos, but I'm just not impressed with them. I know that some of their new stuff is rolled in the Torano factory, so that may help, but I just can't bring myself to spend any money on them due to past experience with the poor flavor and bad burn..

If I had a nickel for every time I dogged on perdomo in the past I would be wealthy. The La Tradicion reserve line is different. They are very good. At least the maduro and the champagne are. I haven' tried the cameroon yet but I have heard good things about that one too.

Bluesky - Just a point of clarification - Tabacalera Perdomo has always produced their own cigars.

That is what I have always thought as well, Perdomo makes all there own cigars.

I have a Champagne from Al also and will review and post the results later after about a month or two of settling.

OKay...I'll bite. I ordered a five pack to check them out and I'll see how good they are, and I'll keep an open mind about it.

I just order 5 from 2Guys. I always get at least five of something when I order that way I can share with one of my buds at work and get their opinion. Like you tz, I couldn't find anyone that sold them in five packs for a discount, so I just ordered five singles to try

Yep, I got five of the Series F figurados in last week and let them set in the humidor till tonight and lit one up. Defintely the best constructed Perdomo that I ever had and certainly the best tasting Perdomo, but a bit too pricy for what it is. Comparing it to the new 5 Vegas gold that just came out the the Connecticut shade wrapper, its about the same taste but the 5 Vegas cost less. I'll keep a few around in my humidors, but for the price, it just doesn't set my world on fire. The Nat Sherman Hampton Churchill and the 5 Vegas Gold robusto are just as good, with the same smoothness and flavor.
