I'm Brent's friend who smoked the crappy Padron 5000. I called the number Padron has on their site and the man I talked to confirmed that the Outman's store I shop at was indeed a store registred with them. Must've just been a single bad stick. Also, the cigar's box does have the barcode on the bottom inside. While on the subject of counterfeits, Id also like to ask a question the RP Vintage series. Some store I see, as well as pictures on RP's website, are all cigars without cello. However, in one of my favorite stores the cigars are all individually wrapped in cello. Would this constitute a counterfeit? Does anybody else often find RP Vintages individually celloed?

The bad Padrons I bought were also celloed at the store, but not in promo pictures. Mmmmm, I wonder... Although I imagine cigars manufacturers might ship celloed, but would photograph them "naked" to make a better, more inviting picture.
