Ok, I have a 25 cnt humi and a larger 150cnt. I keep my "good" stuff CC's and NC's in the larger one hidden away.

I am looking for a good $3-$5 dollar stick to place in the smaller humi for the occasional smoker that might happen by.

Suggestions?

Much Appreciated!
Al

Do a search, this has been discussed many times before.

P.A.D.R.E. is right on the money in my book. Oliva Serie G is tough to beat in Cameroon or Maduro...cheap enough to be a mooch stick but more than good enough for a seasoned smoker to appreciate. I keep a box around.

My own personal pick: Cubita Spanish Market Selection by MATASA. At its best, it's a fairly powerful blend combining Dominican ligero with a dusting of spicy Nicaraguan leaf for a leather, woody and ever-so-slightly sweet smoke that happens to be wrapped in a beautiful Colorado-hued Honduran wrapper. It may be too powerful for the occasional smoker, but it could be good for you.

For guys who aren't accustomed to cigars, best to stick with mild blends like Occidental Reserve, VegaFina, Cusano M1, Gispert, Helix...maybe Saint Luis Rey, too. There's a lot to pick from under $5, even today. Don't forget that a Padron Londres and 2000 are still under $5 and those are damn tough to beat.

You can also get your hands on a nice Rocky Patel sampler from Cigarbid for a very low price. There are plenty of decent cigars in his premium samplers for mooch sticks depending on the experience level of the proposed moocher. I don't seem to have any dog rocket moochers they all want something good.

I like the idea from someone else on this board to take some labels from something good and then put them on a white owl. It would be priceless to hear your moocher talk about how great that cohiba was! Big Grin

Hello..

Also, another good "cheap everyday" cigar is the Sancho Panza Double Maduro. They have a nice box press to them, and are not bad at all!. You will like the price evn better; as you can typically find them for about $35 a box from most websites ( i believe famoussmoke.com has them for the cheapest)

They are worth it to keep around.. And As stated above, the Oliva's are good everyday filler smokes...

good luck!

You should definitely consider the Punch Gran Puro (Pico Bonita). $3 a piece (on-line box of 25) and a great cigar.

I agree with PADRE on Oliva G, but actually you can get them for $2 in robusto and $3 in Churchill size online. Padron 2000 is the best smoke for under $3.50. Ramon Allones, Helix, Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte are others that come to mind.
