Just bought five of these- three Corojo Toros and two Maduro Toros. Haven't smoked any of them yet. What's the word on these? I know they're super-powerful (which is fine by me) and that's about it. Everything Patel touches seems to turn to deliciously smokeable gold, so I'm looking forward to them. What do you all think?

I used to love them but as my palate advanced they are just okay smokes. Seems like most people either love them or hate them. I like them okay, for about 5 bucks they are not a bad smoke but very one dimensional. Not bad but can't say they are very good.

I've had one, and only one. First quarter was so so good. After that, it knocked me on my arss!! Way too strong for me but still had good flavor. Course maybe mixing with some beer on the way could've had something to do with that.

As dstokely posted, there doesn't seem to be a lot of in-between in likes and dislikes for this stick.

I've always really liked the Edge Toro Maduro -- my taste profile has evolved since I tried my first one and I'm always finding new favorites, but this stays among them.

Don't like them. I feel that they are very one dimensional.

Couldn't of said it better. These used to be my go to smoke, till my palate changed.

Yeah, but it's such a tasty little dimension, y'know?

They are consistent through-out (one dimensional as others have said), at least the one I had, I'll say that. Definitely one I'd try again. They just don't have any complexity, but seem quality enough to enjoy on a regular night or afternoon, or even on the golf course.

Agreed; very one dimensional. The construction and draw have been great for the few I've had.

I didn't care too much for the Corojo...it seemed way more one dimensional and corojo coated in flavor than any other cigar I've smoked. For the price tag the maduro Edge is a great buy for me. For those of you who have thought its too strong, try the Edge Lite. The torpedo is a great cigar IMO. These have consistently drawn and burned well for me and tasted great for a milder smoke.

Agreed about the non complexity but it is a very good maduro. Not to many NC's with complexity any way IMHO.

I am a fan of the Edge Maduro's and I have these in my regular smoking rotation. When I first really got into cigars I bought a bunch of these and still really enjoy them as my go to consistant cigar...even had one this morning with coffee.

Smoked another corojo last night. I love them! I like the maduro so much less because I think it burns too hot. Either that or its flavor is just easier to screw up by puffing too quickly. If I hurried the corojo, it just tasted a little less sweet and a little more harsh; the maduro turned from a deliciously rich coffee/chocolate vibe to a flavor reminiscent of burning mattresses.
