What are some samplers that you guys would suggest that are available online? I still consider myself a rookie to cigars but I think this is the best way to go about finding out what I like in a cigar. I just purchased the Fast and Furious Fathers Day sampler from Holts, any other suggestions? Thanks guys.

CI just had a couple of RP samplers up for around 50% off. I tried to resist. Couldn't. Oh well. Big Grin

Check out Famous Smoke Shop online because they always have great deals on samplers. Particularly, you can get Rocky Patels and Cohiba robustos at reasonable prices in these samplers. However, often a dog rocket like Drew Estate La Vieja Habana (does anyone like this cigar?) is thrown in as well. Something to give to your friends who don't know the difference.

Although cigar.com is more expensive than many other sites, they now offer a 12 cigar sampler for a flat rate of $60 where you can built it yourself. The list is pretty large of cigars you can choose from and the quality of cigars on the list is good. You may want to consider it as an option.

I also purchased Holt's Fast and Furious Sampler. I couldn't wait to smoke the Opusx, so I did a few days later. I have saved everything else.

I agree w/ cjl, the cigar.com new single sampler looks very nice. They are premium smokes available in that sampler.

I just like cigars, is that ok?

The Fast and Furious from Holt's was a must have. I am letting these sit a while. All are excellent smokes. I would also try Cigars International as they have a ton of samplers at very resonable prices. They have quite a few where you can get ten smokes for around thirty five dollars.

A friend of mine sent me an Oliva variety sampler. If I'm not mistaken he deals with cigar.com most the time.
An excelent sampler pack.
IMHO.

I am glad you made this topic jmurillo74, I have been wondering about this myself. One of my friends has recently had some interest in cigars and I wanted to get him some premium cigars to enjoy.

All right guys give me some suggestions here. I am about to order two samplers from Holt's. I have already picked out the Flor Dominicana OYA sampler and I can't decide on the second one. I want to keep the price under $100. I tend to like full bodied maduro cigars. Thank you for your help guys.

Check out atlanticcigar.com, they have a lot of samplers. I also like the Nat Sherman selections.

local B & M's will do that? I guess I haven't become good enough friends with the ones in my area yet.

It has nothing to do with being friends, it's their job. Just go in and tell them that you are interested in puting together a sampler for yourself and you'd like them to help. They'll walk around with you in the humidor and make suggestions while you select what you want to try. It's the best way to get started.
