Earlier in this thread I said I really love the Vintage 1990s. I had not tried the Edge because I kept reading about how harsh it was. I decided to give one a shot today(Maduro Toro) and decide for myself. Wow, am I glad I did that! What a great smoke, and half the price of the 90's I've been buying. I will be picking up more of the Edge.

I just ordered the Vintage 1992s and am excited to try them. I saw they have another blend of the 1992 and 1990 called the RP Fusion. Any comments on that one?

Since my last post a week or so ago, I've had the Euro edition of the 1990. I really liked it. It had a great draw and even burn. Being the milder, European version, I was a little leary but it tasted great.

I tried the edge maduro this weekend. It was great. My favorite rocky so far. Surpassing both of the vintages for me. But... I still have an olde world reserve waiting on me.
I just like cigars, is that ok?

I recently had the Edge Maduro for the first time, it might be replacing the Sungrown as my favorite

If you guys want to try a great Rocky Patel, try the "Square Edge". It is a limited production (60 boxes from what i hear) version of the edge with a modified blend. It has all of the strength of the edge with none of the bite. It comes in a large rubusto size (aprox 50 x 6 1/2)in both maduro and corojo like the edge. If you can find them, grab them...and at 7.50 a stick its a steal. the other rocky i love is the old world reserve, but from my cigar buddies i don't have much company.
But my favorite now is the Rocky Patel Edge Lite. It's just like the Edge, but with a differnt wrapper. Result is still a spicy great taste, without as much of the bite of the Edge.
