I haven't tried enough smokes in this line to have a favorite. The 90's aren't my cup of tea and the Edge seems to be trying too hard to be something its not. I haven't had the sungrown and haven't had the desire to obtain any. I am curious to smoke the 92 that Bluesky graciously bombed me with.
Peace.

I have had the '90 and '92, and like both, but I have to have a few more of each in order to give you a fair comparison. I place a lot of emphasis on fairness, so this may take a box of each.
I have had the Cameroon Legend, which was smoother than I expected from an Indian Tabac, and really hit the spot on my first visit to another shop in my area.

Ah... yet another BOTL has experienced the "under the radar" joy that is the Cammie Legend.

...or it could just be that while I smoked it, they let me wear the Chief Geronimo feathered headdress, and sit bareback on the horsey in the cigar lounge.
Yes, it was a decent smoke - I am liking the CAO and Indian Tabac cameroons, as well as a few other upcoming target selections.

I've tried most of the Indian Tobbac and thought they were just ok [not great] Love the Edge maduro Torp,Really like the Vintage 92 seconds[very nice]. Got some of "The Cigar" coming from cbid, and some vintage and sungrown in the Humi waiting for the right moment. Rockey is a real perfectionist and makes some of the best. Irv

Not to thread hijack, but sungunner if you're liking cammies try the Torano, FDO and H.uppmann cammies as well. All are solid smokes that are deffinately worth a shot. Enjoy!

I am definitely a Rocky Patel fan. I like the 92's and the 90's very much. For the price they're my cigar of choice at the moment. Last week I tried the RP SunGrown which had a beautiful luminescent wrapper. Almost too pretty to smoke but have fire will burn. It was a bit light at fist but after a little while the smooth flavor built up to a relaxing plateau

I've smoked most of the RPs ('90, '92, Edge, etc.) I tried a sun grown for the first time this weekend and really enjoyed it. I'm not a huge fan of RPs...they're not in my regular rotation...but the Sun grown may make the cut. I need to smoke a couple more before I make the call. Then comes the tough part...what get's bumped?
Charloods, try the 92 or the 90 vintage. Those are consistently good. The sungrown seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it type of cigar. I don't care for it personally but as you can see there are a lot of folks who really like it. Reminds me of the partagas black in that respect. Those are very love/hate too.

The Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Maduro for me. I think most of the other RP's are okay, but the Olde World Reserves are really high up on my list. The only cigar I can think of where I actually liked the maduro version better than the natural.
I like most of the cigars by Rocky Patel. If I had to say which is my favorite I would have to say that it would be the Rocky Patel SunGrown Torpedo.

I have had the Rocky Patel 90, 92, Edge ( both wrappers) and the Seconds ( I believe they were Edge Seconds). Each of these cigars was fantastic. They each of a little difference in flavor but they are well constructed. I need to try the Old World Reserve and the Indian Tabac still. Rocky has got to be one of my favorite cigar makers
I have smoked both the Vintage 1990s & 1992s. I like both and have plenty in my humidor. I'm interested in trying the Vintage 1999s with the Connecticut wrapper. If anyone tries one please post your opinon on this board.
