I appreciate everyone's opinion in this forum and learned a lot. Just wondering what is your opinion on padron 3000 (I like the 2000. My favorites are 64s and 26s). I read some where that they have hints of chocolate and coffee beans. I know everyone's pallets are different. But you all have not let me down. So, what do you think of them?
I purchased a box of these, the maduro wrap. They are wonderful smokes, can never go wrong with any Padron in my opinion. I have not tried the natural wrapper, but like I said, its a Padron so I think it will be just fine, they do in my opinion have a ton of Coffee flavour to them, the draw on all of them I had were excellent. I still have about 15 or so of these sitting in the humidor from the box of 25 I had, there going on 3 months now, Im sure they would of been gone now if it werent for living in Canada and having access to fine Cuban cigars, as well as various other cigars that I do enjoy. Worth the purchase.
My first Padron was a 3000 and actually it is the only Padron that I have ever had, but as far as I have ever read or talked about a Padron cigar with anyone, the Padron's all have a PERFECT draw. I honestly have never heard or read of anyone having draw issues with a Padron cigar. I thought the 3000 was great and for the price that they cost for a box, surely a go to smoke for most people.

They are all too earthy for me, though the "Sancho Panza" Series by Padron are really good. They are a bit more flavorful, and i like them. But Padron are, in general, too earthy for my palate.
that said, the 6000 is the best in the series, IMHO.
personally I really enjoy all the Padron's, the 3000 to me had a lot of coffee bean taste, they are pretty earthy like jbonnefsc said but I really like the their strength. Just enough to give a little kick but not enough to make me dizzy afterwards

I smoke this cigar more than any others over the course of a year. I love them and always keep a box of maduros close by.

For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

Padron 3000- These in my opinion are some of the best cigars made.. even among cubans, they are at the top. Padrons make a fine cigar. And talk about a good price.. you cant beat the Padron

Padron 300 maduro is one of my favorites. Excellent construction, draw and flavor. And you can't beat the price of $4. When I need a great escape, it's off to the patio with a 300 maduro!

OK, I think I can trust your opinion, montes. I am a hard-core Montecristo smoker, mostly #3's and #4's, and of course #2's. Yum. Anyway...
I bought a box of Padron Delicias (coronas) and they are all over the place. One in five are very, very good. Two in five are, meh, ok. And, two in five are awful, bitter, and very off.
Now I'm interested in the 3000 because everyo9ne seems to like them so much. Is there a quality difference between the standard line, like the Delicias coronas and the, say 3000?
Based on the Delicias, I'm not impressed.
I'm trying to find a trusty NC to smoke affordably...

Something interesting I’ve experienced regarding Padron 3000 (naturals) and age. I’ve found that they smoke best when aged 4 to 6-months (from the box date).
It seems that somewhere between 6 and 10-months they seem to start losing flavor and become one-dimensional.
I’ve found this out accidentally by buying singles out of a 10-month old box at a B&M and comparing them to my 4 and 5-month old boxes at home.
I smoked my first Paron 3000 natural today I really enjoyed it! Even after I smoked a VSG earlier in the day it was GREAT. I say this because I smoked a Padron 64 before smoking a lesser quality cigar (for the life of me I don't remember what it was) in the past (that was before my pallet developed ) and it ruined my experience. That was a rookie mistake. Now I now better, not to compare and I know what I looking and tasting for (LAMS).
