I ordered a box of Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Torpedo Maduros yesterday. I like most of their cigars but have not tried this one yet.
Have any of you tried this one yet? If so how did you like it?

I recieved them yesterday and like all the Rocky Patel line I have smoked, all had great construction and were very dark in color like an oscuro. I had never heard of them either but saw them at Famous Smoke Shop on line.
I will let y'all know how the smoke and taste after they sit a couple of weeks in my humidor if I can wait that long.

A lot of people don't care for Rocky Patel's cigars, saying he is watering down his line too much and coming out with too much gimicky stuff. I thought that's what cigar companies were supposed to do, bring out new and tasteful blends for us to smoke. Oh well, guess I not an aficionado like some of those well heeled people.
Myself, I like a lot of Rocky's cigars, especially the sungrowns. Let me know if they are any good Raven, I might pick up a box of the PC's to keep around.

This is a proprietary cigar made only for Famous. They appear to be re-banded Edge cigars: Same size vitolas, same tobacco components....and to my palate, they taste exactly alike.
Oh....but the Edge is available a cheaper prices!
